  1. Hi Marissa

It’s awesome to be in touch on the blogosphere and I am enjoying the content of your site so much. You write with energy and clarity and I always discover something new on my visits here.

    Happy blogging

    • I’m excited too. Like I said, always saw you around wp (why did it take me so long to get around to following you?!) Feel like I have a bit of a celebrity following my blog now. Thanks for the response!

  7. Hiya Marissa! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for the like! It is wonderful to meet another sarcastic yet poetically sensitive and musical soul out here in blogland… fab Gravatar profile, by the way. I’m taking notes and probably need to rework mine now. I have profile envy. Rock on, sister – everyone needs a little rock’n roll (or punk!) momma in their lives! πŸ™‚ Mother Hen

  9. Thank you for following my blog Marissa! I look forward to reading more of yours. Rock on funny talented lady. πŸ™‚

  10. I love your posts and I am awarding you the Lovely Blogger award. It’s an easy one and I hope you’ll take time to complete it. I’d really be interested in learning 7 new facts about you and I think the rest of the blogosphere would too! Info is on my Awards Page along with the award for you to copy and put on your own site.

    • Yes, I know a lot of people have the whole awards free blog on their sites and I don’t, but I guess I really should. I really appreciate getting awards and am always happy to acknowledge them, but every time I think of going through the process of reciprocating, I just start stressing about who I’m going to nominate and whether I’m doing everything correctly, until I just give up!

      • I feel the same way. As much as I want to acknowledge everyone, I can’t and then I feel like I’m under stress. Don’t worry about going through the process. I just wanted to give a fellow bassist a well deserved shout out. πŸ™‚

  11. Love your blogs. I think I deserve a slap on the wrist for not hopping over to see more of what you’re about. Keep up the good work. I’ll visit more often now I know how entertaining you are.

  12. Hello Marissa,

You were chosen as the winner for my book giveaway in my blog. I sent you an email to the email provided in your site to arrange shipping of the Metallica book. If you can reply back to me within 24 hrs. Thanks and hope to hear from you

  13. Hi Marissa! I thought after visiting my friend Paola at her place I thought I would drop by here to say hello. My goodness! I found a treasure of delightful reminders of my own wonderfully misspent youth absorbed in Rock-N-Roll and hung over still from the 60’s and 70’s. I think you are the Holy Grail of Clever Wit that Dr. Seuss and Monty Python built a legacy on while searching for it. Clearly they didn’t blog or they would have ended up here… πŸ™‚

  14. Hi Marissa, Thanks for following. I saw you so many times on Rob’s blog. I don’t know why I never checked your blog out before. Love to follow you from now on 😊

  15. I googled “Connersville sucks”, just for the hell of it. Your blog came up. I saw the name Bergen and assumed you are George’s wife. You have no idea how bad that town sucked. I tell people my Connersville stories and they think that I am making stuff up.From my birth until the day I left that sewer, not one good thing happened. My wife is amazed that I turned out as good as I did, although I do struggle.Tell George hi for me.I don’t have facebook or any of that anymore.I live 7 miles from anything,I like it that way.Just corn and trees out here. Jerry.
