Cheers to a heck of a funny lady! And I’m glad your youth was misspennt! Loving your posts, what I’ve read of them…
And thank you for reading. I look forward to seeing your blogs as well.
👍. You might want to check out some of my humour based posts
Hi Marissa, I nominated you for the 3 Day Quote Challenge: https://erikakind.wordpress.com/2015/08/02/3-day-quote-challenge-day-2-4/comment-page-1/#comment-17180
Thank you for the nomination. I recently did a three quote challenge. Not sure if it was the same one. Anyway, I’ll see if I can recharge my batteries for this one.
I guess there is only that kind of three day challenge. So feel free to reject, Marissa. It is completely up to you 🙂
Thanks. Well, the last time I just took 3 quotes from songs as used them as poem prompts which can always be a good prompt to use but, believe it or not, it wasn’t easy. I had to find a way to write poems without just rewriting their songs. I’ll see if I can do it again.
Would be awesome, Marissa! I really would love to see it 😊
Hi Marissa, whether you accept or not, I just want to say thank you 😘: https://erikakind.wordpress.com/2015/08/07/i-am-recognized/
And thank you too Erika!
Very, very, very welcome, Marissa 😊
Is there any other way to spend ones youth? Just saying 🙂
I would hope not.
Being unfriended might come as a nuke
Looks like it’s good I don’t do facebook 🙂
For more reasons than one, I’d say!

Thanks Erika! Yes, I saw that. Thank you for nominating me. I’ll do my best.
Yes, I saw the comment. Just take your time. I am looking forward to a sarcastic gratitude post… haha!

The thought just struck that this poem was written by your daughter.
Ha, ha, unfortunately read the other one first. Oh well. Yes, daughter is just slightly better.
Listened to the Elephant song…I liked it, a really different sound to it and that elephant video was definitely trippy..
I’m glad you liked it. I had never seen the video before either so I’m kind of glad I looked for it. The elephant was pretty cool.
I think it was an old Disney video, maybe, those elephants know how to have a good time.. good song.
I’ve never seen it before myself. Who knows…I was entertained in any case.
It was very entertaining.. elephants know how to live it up.
I added your blog in the comment section to Sandra’s post https://amommasview.wordpress.com/2015/11/12/time-to-mingle I want more people to read your fantastic poems 🙂
That’s so nice of you Erika! Thank you so much!
You are so amazing! I want everybody to know 😘
You’re very sweet!
Just what I think and feel! Amy just replied how much she loved your poem!!!
So nice to hear!
They all love it!!!
Hi Marissa! I was wondering if you accept blog awards? I know they are a lot of work (smile), anyway I have one I am trying to get through for a friend of mine. May I nominate you for the Infinity Dreams Blog Award? It is all good if you don’t want to…thanks 🙂
Well to get right to the point, I do technically accept award nominations and I appreciate them but I don’t reciprocate. If you are just looking for people to nominate, that’s fine. Thanks for thinking of me.
That’s a good policy, and one I may adopt. Thanks!
Marissa, I’m desperately trying to find your e-mail address and can’t. Could you please write me at mine? I assume you still have it. thanks!
Thanks for going through the trouble Torrie!
Hi Marissa, I nominated you for the 5 days story/photo challenge. I thought that was just perfect for you. If you want to participate please check this post https://erikakind.wordpress.com/2015/11/21/5-days-photo-story-challenge-day-1/ 🙂
Yes, I saw it thanks. I have a few posts already written this week so it may not exactly be timely…or in order…but I think I can do something with this one. Thanks for thinking of me!!
Whenever, Marissa! I am sure it will be fun what you create! 😃
Hello Marissa. Got any jokes?
Oh goodness, was the blog not enough? I’m sure if I could recall any they would be unfit to print for one reason or another.
Go on, be a devil . . .
I have to warn you that whatever joke I publish will probably be searched up directly from the internet. There is one however, that I memorized in my youth and never could forget…one about a guy seeing a hot girl on a beach and after some flirting the guy’s friend tells him to ‘show her your nuts’. And the guy just makes a real goofy face…like he’s nuts, you know? Get it?
Now you’re talking girl! Consider me a subscriber here!
Ah, good one! Thanks for signing up! Looking forward to your posts as well.
Hello Marissa! Thanks for visiting my blog and sorry it took me this long to get back to you, it’s been busy! But come hang out with me at http://www.thatssojacob.wordpress.com soon and have a great day!
You had me at “rocker chick from Brooklyn.” I love music, and I tend to work a lot of lyrics into my pieces and/or write inspired from particular songs.
Glad Michelle connected us!
Me too! I really loved your poem yesterday and look forward to reading more from you! Thanks.
Awesome, and thanks for the follow at Lovely Fire. It’s a fun new team fiction thing we’re trying out this year…plenty of room for guest characters if you see someone that jumps out at you and feel inspired. 🙂
Not to “push” myself, but I do most of my poetry over at AnnaBeguins.com May be more up your alley? This was one of the more amusing posts, and not even my words. A recent rejection letter 🙂
Yes, visited, commented and followed there as well. Thanks for the lowdown!
Blog looks great.. Must set some time and go through all.. Looking forward to finding more..
Thanks for the follow. I look forward to reading more from you as well!

Ma’am, what a wonderful style of humour! I’m a fan.
Thank you! Looking forward to reading more from you as well!
The Family Musicians have the best name ever: “The Cheesebergens!” Woo-hoo! I love you Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.
I mean you are irresistibly cheesy in your wondrous form of rock and roll without any possiblity of competition in your field! I liked the way you sounded and hope next time you have the lighting improved unless you are all shy? Some of you may be? 🙂
I missed your Opening Premiere, Marissa. I was on a Library wait-list until my tummy growled and had to leave the library. Who knew Monday was such a popular computer day?
I was here for your *****Encore Performance!!*****
I brought another “groupie,” since I spied Kinders teacher, Beth from Ann Arbor, Michigan here!
Oh yes, no problem, Robin. Better late than never. So glad you enjoyed!
Your blog rocks.
Thank you Vinnie!
And I appreciate you following mine. I await your comments on it.
Your Blog is amazing! and your Rock! 🙂
Thank you Charlie!
You are welcome. 🙂
By the way, I’m currently following your page. Stop by sometime and check out my poems. They will trip you out. 🙂
New to Blogs. Through a sea of crap I just found yours. I like it. I’m an aging Rock ‘n’ Roll Chi-town dad. My fledgling blog thing is centered on stupidity as well.
Thank you! I’ll have to follow yours as well.
