My 11 year-old son and his classmates perform the RUSH classic “A Passage to Bangkok.”

Reblogging my husband’s post of my son’s awesome performance.

Heavy Metal OG

My son, Jesse Bergen is 11 years old. He sings and plays a bunch of different instruments. He has been attending School of Rock Burbank for the past 3 years. Yesterday, at the Federal Bar in North Hollywood, the school presented their tribute to RUSH. My son sang and/or played bass or guitar on 10 RUSH classics. Here he is playing guitar and singing on “A Passage to Bangkok.” I’m one proud papa. All of the kids in this school are between 7-17 and of varying degrees of experience, so please be nice or at least constructive in any comments. Enjoy!

  1. Wow! How fantastic! He’s a supah-star, sistah! So exciting to see talent develop like this, and what a great song they chose to do. Bravo!
